–What can I expect my engagement or portrait session to be like?
Like opening a can of awesomeness. Expect to have fun. Be relaxed, comfortable, and be yourself. The more fun you have, the better you images will be. I always strive to capture your true personality, character and the special relationship that you share with future spouse. I’m known to do some pretty crazy and goofy things, so come ready to be goofy as well
–Do you do destination weddings?
I travel worldwide all the time and LOVE it! Special discounts apply if you live in Brazil, I'm fluent in Portuguese and have a current passport! Places I would love to shoot at: Scotland, New Zealand, Indonesia, Berlin, Moscow and Brazil!!!Do you travel for engagement and/or portrait sessions?
Yes! I don’t charge for any travel inside the general Tucson area. I probably do more work outside of Tucson than I do inside Tucson, so traveling is always exciting! If you are looking to book me for your portrait session and live outside the Arizona area, please call me so we can discuss your perfect location.–How many weddings do you photograph per year?
I had always strived to deliver the utmost quality in everything that I do as an artist. In order for my wedding artistry to always be at its top level, I only photograph 20 weddings per year at the maximum. I currently have 2 more openings for the 2009 year and am quickly booking up for 2010. Please call to arrange an appointment so we can talk about your wedding art. -
–Do I get digital copies of my photographs
Yes. Almost all of our wedding collections include a DVD with all your wedding photographs. The DVD is delivered when your album is delivered. During the album design process, all of the images used in the album creation will be fully touched up and artistically enhanced to make sure everything is perfect. These are not just photographs, this is wedding art.–Can I use my photos on MySpace or Facebook?
We love it when our clients want to share their awesome pics. We do however ask that you leave our logo on each photograph, this way everyone will know you hired the most awesome photographer
–When will my artwork be ready to view?
For weddings, your images will be ready to view on our private online galleries within 3 weeks following your wedding. For portrait session, your images are ready within 1 week and often invite our clients in early to view their photographs on our large projector display in the studio!–What clothing should I wear for my engagement or portrait session?
Wear what is comfortable, and something you won't mind seeing in your photographs 5, 10 or 20 years from now. Wear something that defines yourself, something you REALLY love. I don’t recommend going shopping and buying something specifically for the occasion; wear your favorite outfits, and that new outfit you purchased 2 weeks ago might not be your favorite 2 weeks later! I don’t encourage matching outfits for couples. Multiple clothing layers work really well for almost everyone. Don’t forget the accessories and shoes!!! -
–What should I bring to my session?
You should bring multiple changes of clothing for your session. I always recommend at least 2-3 outfits at minimum, but bring 7-9; that way we can coordinate wardrobe options at the time of your session instead of wishing we had more options! Don't underestimate the need for: bobby pins, hair brushes, gum, water, pen and paper, lipstick, chapstick, shoes, power bars, hair ties, razors, powerbars, licorice, gatorade and more.–Can I view and purchase my photographs online?
We only provide online proofing for our wedding clients. We have found, and our clients agree, that viewing your portraits for the first time on our large projector displays in our studio is the best way to go. We want you to see them how they are meant to be displayed: as artwork for your home. Remember, what you are investing in is art; not digital photographs that are meant to be shared and viewed by everyone, but to be loved and cherished by you and your loved ones for a very, very long time!–Can my friends view my photos online?
Once your wedding portraits are posted in our private online galleries, you may share the private password with whomever you choose. Your friends and family will also be able to purchase their favorite portrait art straight from the website.–What is required to book you for my wedding or portraits?
We require a $1000 retainer for any wedding commissions. This retainer guarantees availability on your date; it is non-refundable. For portrait sessions, a $150 session fee is due at the time of booking. These terms are subject to change whenever we deem necessary.
