It’s that time of year . . .

. . . when the kids get all crazy about dressing up and hitting the neighborhoods for their insatiable appetite for sweets that will rot their teeth out.   At least that’s what my parents warned me would happen if I ate too much sweets.  Thankfully, I still have some of my teeth :D

I had a quick impromptu mini photo shoot with a beautiful model the other day, just so happens it kind of ties in to this whole Halloween costume stuff.  Thought I’d share a couple of quick pics.  Pretty cool stuff if you ask me :D

Business Portraits

I don’t get a whole lot of requests for professional business portraits in Tucson, usually because it’s often something I overlook on the marketing end.  I don’t consider these “run and gun” type of jobs but approach them with the same care and attention as any other type of portrait.

Many business professionals overlook such an important role a professional portrait can be.  Potential customers can make a more personal connection on many levels if you use your portrait on your website, business cards, marketing materials, etc . . .  It puts a face to a name.  Most professionals understand this concept, BUT, I know lots of people (and I’m sure you do to) that have really bad pictures.  A bad picture is WORSE than no picture.  Know anyone that hasn’t said “cheese” in a while? I promise I’ll never make you say that though.

Just thought I’d show a few recent examples :)

Based on their portraits, how many of these people would you NOT want to meet?  I hope your portrait is doing work for you in ways you never thought, and hopefully not working against it’s goal.

Reyna - Downtown

This monsoon season sure makes things interesting as far as planning for outdoor portrait sessions.  You never know when it’s going to clear up, and out of nowhere it can start pouring again.  Oh well, atleast I’m not melting anymore :)  Anyway, I had a fun session with Reyna, who is an aspiring photographer and needed some great shots for hew new website.  This was located in downtown Tucson, and it was the perfect time for some great portraits, beautiful weather that wasn’t too hot (but then again I still sweat my head off!)  Thanks for being so awesome Reyna!!

Album & Product Samples!

The long wait is over. Meagan & Nate’s album came in this week and it totally rocks! The colors and sharpness of an ASUKABOOK are just awesome. I love it, and luckily they did too :) I’m trying to get more photos of my actual products and thought it would be a good time to get some more.

Also check out my new CD cases, they’re hip and jazzin’ (at least I think so)!

Rachel

I had a great portrait session with Rachel yesterday at La Paloma.  The resort is a very pleasant atmosphere and provided some great setups and backdrops.  As we were wrapping up we happened upon this nice place outdoors that just totally meshed with everything.  Turns out it was the winning shot!

Anyways, Rachel is a member of BNI, an organization to which we both attend that helps us build our business and network with other small businesses in Tucson.  It’s a great place to meet new people and connect with others that can augment your current network of associates.  Rachel is a Life Coach, and has actually been helping me with my business.  It’s been great to keep better track of my goals and desires, and it’s sure paying off already!
