Amanda & Jason are wed!

It was a very emotional day full of smiles, tears, laughs and hugs.  A day I will not soon forget.  I have been so honored to have known the Dillon family and all that I have been able to do with them, and now seeing Amanda & Jason is just thrilling to say the least.  Many of you will remember their historic engagement session where they just tore it up!  Check out their awesome engagement post to relive their awesome pics!  http://www.spencerboerup.com/blog/archives/238

Their wedding was at the beautiful Saddlebrooke club house, one of the very coolest venues, in my opinion, in all of Tucson.  Lots of beautiful window lighting, HUGE ceilings and just a great all around place!  Every minute of the day was just awesome, and although it was a long one, it was very invigorating and refreshing to be with a couple so in love with each other.  Congratulations again Amanda & Jason (and to your new families!), I can’t wait to photograph the little kiddos :)

WARNING: LOTS OF AWESOME IMAGES!!!

Awesome skies the entire day, can’t complain with that!

Check out that ROCK!

WOW!  Instant heart-throb, she is smokin’ in this one!  Looks like a top model to me . . .

My assistant Kyle grabbed these 2 great details

Another WOW!

Guys just couldn’t contain themselves, so much that they . . .

almost ran me over!

I loved this one how her dress is all poofed up, she looks like a Disney princess here!

Another great grab by Kyle, Amanda was so excited about all the people come she was always gazing out the windows to see the commotion :D

It was contagious after a bit apparently

Jason became very emotional as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time coming down the aisle

Another great shot by Kyle

Jason couldn’t keep that smile off his face the entire day!

Another great detail by Kyle

The Dillon’s are VERY proud and happy parents :)

If you look past their awesome beauty, you’ll see a small family of deer in the background, haha!

B&G FTW!

I love a couple that isn’t afraid to be goofy and have a lot of fun!

Surprise gift from Amanda’s family to Jason . . . is that Nacho Libre?

Dance shot FTW!

Just STUNNING!

I love the bubble exit, so awesome!

Tara - Gorgeous pictures Spencer. The one with the veil covering the couple and the first dance shot=HOT! Your blog stalker is happy tonight : )

Mathur Sneak Peak!

Two posts within 12 hours, crazy I know!  I just couldn’t contain my enthusiasm for this family’s portraits we did on Tuesday!  This little boy should be a model for all sorts of baby stuff, because he could really “work it”.  Enjoy!

Valerie & Steve – Ritz Carlton

Well, many people were impressed that I got to shoot at the Tucson Airport with unlimited access to anywhere I wanted to shoot. Well, I think I might have almost topped that this week! I got special corporate clearance from the Ritz Carlton in Tucson, and I had full access to the Championship golf course and club house, the entire afternoon with NO ONE ELSE THERE. Yes, you read it: full access to a world class golf facilities with an awesome couple, amazing lighting, and a large can of awesomeness. Only time limited our creativity, but boy was it an opportunity. Valerie & Steve were a blast to work with and look forward to their wedding come August! We started out in the downtown area for a little bit, then headed to the Ritz golf club and had a blast. Tiger Woods has won the Championship Match Play Tournament at this course a number of times . . . this place was EXACTLY like you would see in the really high-end magazines and stuff . . . top notch! I hope that someday I can go back, but I doubt I’ll get that kind of opp again. NOTE: You never know where you’ll get here in Tucson if you just drop my name :) Thanks again Valerie & Steve, you’re the bestest!

Featured on TheKnot.com, Congrats Jessica & Josh!

TheKnot.com has been working on a featured listing of a bride & groom I photographed back in October 2008.  It was a very memorable wedding on many regards; beautifully arranged and decorated, wonderful accomodations at the Stillwell House, super awesome couple, and a reception party that could dance like they were dancing for a gold medal.  Congratulations again to Jessica & Josh!

To view their story you can visit TheKnot.com and read the full story. If you want to recap on their awesome pics, visit our blog post here.

New Architecture Project

I had a really fun ongoing project that I was able to shoot a couple weeks back.  A very large commercial building down near the airport, beautifully designed and constructed late Fall 2008.  I’m quite familiar with photographing smaller, high-end homes, but this was definitely a very fun and rewarding project.  The exterior of the building is being repaired at the moment, so we went ahead and started on some of the interiors.  Beautiful space, lots of lines, symmetry, details and texture.  Thankfully we had a blue sky to work with as well!  Enjoy,

Engagement Guestbook Design!!!!

I think I just kicked the snot of this new album presentation method.  I love the new turning pages and all the coolness that comes with it!  I have uploaded a sample Engagement Guestbook design so that no one feels left out or jealous.

Instructions:
1.  The 1st image is the album cover.  The last image is the back cover.
2.  To turn the page, simply grab the page edge and drag it to the other side.  You may also click in the lower right (or left, depending on which way you want to turn the page) and it will turn the page.
3.  If you want to zoom in closer, double-click to zoom in.  You may then pan around the page with ease.
4.  If you want to see it full screen, click on the lower left-most button in the navigation area.  To return to the blog, click that same button, or hit ESC on your keyboard.

Enjoy!

Ning - booh, sorry I am wrong :) Your idea is really fantastic! Seems to be better than a slideshow!

Ning - Fun idea for presentation! Looks like Silverlight to me :)

Jason - Very fun idea. what tool did you use to create this? I am a fan of your work for quite a while but this is the first time i have sat up and said so. keep it up

Michelle Rasmussen - Wow Spencer...I'm seriously impressed! Beautifully creative and well seen/shot images + kick-booty webdesign and blog = AWESOME! Nice! ~Michelle
